Quaffable, but uh...far from transcendent.

This post exists for no reason other than that I adore Family Guy and think this is one of the funniest and most random parodies I've ever seen. Hopefully it'll bring you a chuckle.

Family Guy greatness:

That makes me so happy.

Oh, and pop quiz: What's the origin of the title of this post?

Bet that woman feels like "a smudge of excrement...surging out to sea."

Those noises she made... they were barely human. You imagine she suffered some ridiculously disfiguring injuries as a result. That video never ceases to disturb and fascinate me (the mark of true comedy).

So...Family Guy does the exact same thing, and it's a parody?

God, that show is terrible.

Uneven? You bet. Maddening? Yes.

Terrible? I think not.

Adam: I totally agree! It fascinates me, as well. Yeah, you'd think she was on fire from the sounds she makes.

drunkensuperman:

parody: any humorous, satirical, or burlesque imitation, as of a person, event, etc.

So, yes, it IS a parody, by definition. And my, you're negative! Yikes. Lighten up!

Family Guy is FAR from terrible. It's only gotten better as time has passed. They are currently at the pinnacle of their genius and don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

SMILE, drunkensuperman, you sourpuss. :)
